Refund and Cancellation Policy

Thank you for investing in your trading education with Backpack Trader LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Because our Services consist of immediate digital delivery of proprietary software, trading indicators, strategies, and live session access, we enforce a strict refund and cancellation framework.
By purchasing any course, software license, membership, or service from our platform, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Digital Products and Indicator Software Sales
All sales of downloadable software, custom charting indicators (e.g., configurations for TradeStation, NinjaTrader, or TradingView), standalone video training courses, and masterclasses are final.
- Immediate Consumption: Because digital data and proprietary logic are delivered instantly to your device or account upon clearance of payment, these assets cannot be “returned” or “unlearned.”
- Compatibility: It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your hardware, internet connection, and charting platform license meet the technical requirements of our indicators before making a purchase. We do not issue refunds for platform incompatibility or user-end technical limitations.
2. Live Trading Rooms and Subscription Memberships
For services billed on a recurring monthly, quarterly, or annual cycle (such as live trading room access, inner circles, or ongoing chat communities), the following rules apply:
- No Prorated Refunds: We do not offer partial or prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations. When you cancel, your access will remain active until the conclusion of your current paid billing period, after which it will terminate.
- Automatic Renewal: All subscriptions auto-renew using the payment method on file until explicitly canceled by the user.
How to Cancel a Subscription:
To prevent your next scheduled auto-renewal, you must submit a cancellation request at least three (3) business days prior to your upcoming billing date. You can cancel by:
- Navigating to the billing or account management section within your user dashboard.
- Opening a formal support request at support@backpacktrader.com.
3. Conditional Performance Guarantees (Action-Based)
From time to time, specific premium mentorship programs or comprehensive bundles may feature an explicit action-based performance guarantee on their specific promotional checkout pages.
If a product features such a guarantee, a refund will only be considered if you provide clear documentation proving you executed the required educational milestones.
Standard requirements to qualify for an action-based refund include:
- Verification that you completed 100% of the training modules and associated quizzes.
- Complete trading logs from a simulated/demo environment demonstrating that you consistently applied the exact strategy rules over the specified time frame (e.g., 60 or 90 days).
- Attendance or review logs of a minimum number of live support sessions.
If the specific checkout page for your product did not explicitly state an action-based guarantee, the standard “All Sales Final” policy applies.
4. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We aim to resolve all student billing questions transparently and efficiently through our support channels.
- Dispute Policy: Unjustified credit card chargebacks or payment disputes (e.g., claiming a purchase was unauthorized despite logging in and downloading software) will result in the immediate, permanent termination of your account, software licenses, and community access.
- Collection: Backpack Trader LLC reserves the right to report fraudulent chargebacks or unpaid balances to collections agencies and consumer reporting bureaus.
